Welspun Reatil Limited (W.R.L) was established in 2003 and is part of the US $ 1.5 billion (Rs. 6000 Crore) Welspun group. Buoyed by the magnitude of expertise in the textiles division and the success of Welspun India Limited globally, W.R.L was set up to meet the domestic demand. WELHOME, was launched as Welspun Factory Outlet in October 2005 with a prime focus of being a discount store offering products at low prices. After its launch, we realized that there was an unprecedented demand for home products in the domestic market and the perception of lower income groups purchasing from the unorganized sector was fast becoming a myth.
